Joined out of curiosity, and a desire to see if there are other conservatives out there. I live/work in an intensely liberal enclave and feel that I have little/no opportunity to meet guys that share my interest in the GOP.
While the true definition of liberal suggests someone who actually considers both sides of an argument and sides with the more logical option, the word no longer has meaning in our political system. Like "conservative," it seems to mean knee-jerk reaction based on what you already believe.
