Not a perfect system but I 'llbe gratefull anyway I wasnt much of a political guy strangely till I became a Christain.I,as a teenager wanted to legaliz mrijuana and any type of freedom that waseither of the rebellious type of not so rebellious.I did not care much for authority because it infringed upon my fun seeking.I realise that Conservtism seemed to have mor absolutes and principles that created a structure for living.I did not feel boxed in but more free.It is not alway the right thing to do just because it feels good but going by your feelings can tend to lead you in a way that leads to more and more excess.Excess usually leads to consequences and pain for you and others around you.Liberalism has it mild to wild streaks just like Conservatism.But there is no doubt that Liberalism seems to alway take the way of least resistance,lLive and let live they say even at you own demise and the degrading of yourself ,otherd and your world.Democracy in the form of a Republic,(Which the United States is)is God way of letting manking show our selves that even the best tried sysyem of mans social form of order is week for one reason.Law is Good but man is imperfect in himself to be a complete law abiding entity that some how will infringe on the rights of others and a tug of war for power and control will insue.God allowed for this so we would have to seek an outside arbitrator to settle the issue as to why mans character is flawed in ruling himself and others to the point of Utopia.(the Garden of Eden,Paradise ,You know)Humility in the face of failure and bowing to The One who is able to correct those flaws,realising every man,woman and child is subject to dicovering they do not posess a power in themselves outside of asking for help from above That entity? Jesus Christ.
