I'm homosexual., some republicans don't have a problem with folks like me, some do but think it's none of their business and then there are those republicans (and more than a few bigoted democrats) who go out of their way to stand between us and our civil rights! Yes, civil rights is what they are, not gay rights because homosexuals don't as a group want special rights, only the same rights everybody else already have. Lot of people don't dig us, well guess what, there's a lot of people out there us homos don't dig as well.. mean people, snobs, the President of Iran, Britney Spears.. but whether or not these people marry, who cares, I don't. I'm not all broken up about people not liking homosexuals, my life's goin on just fine with folks not liking that I'm homosexual, I don't need them to like me. What I do need is for my government to recognize and respect my rights the same as it does yours, yours and yours, and every other American. Who here thinks that's too much to expect?
