I was just thinking how the left was hoping that Al Frankin would
become more popular then Rush Limbaugh but they where wrong. The left
thought Air America would ruin the right's talk radio networks but sorry you
liberals Air America is failing. People are just sicking of listening to this big
government, hogwashing, treehugging, etc. While you get my point. |

Greetings, republicanvt! I appreciate your post, but I can't say I agree with your ideas. Let me explain. First, from everything I've read, there was never a serious belief on anyone's part that Air America or Al Franken would be immensely popular. Conservatives tend to be much more apt to listen to radio (i.e. we care) than liberals, so I think Air America was simply looking to grab some space on the AM dial. To each her own, I say.
I, frankly, can't listen to Rush anymore. I find his show increasingly uninteresting, whereas a few years ago I listened religiously and enjoyed it. But that's just one girl's opinion. I understand that lots of conservatives still find him appealing.
Lastly, I'm a "tree-hugger," and I'm surprised someone from Vermont isn't as well. I'd like to see the Republican Party become the environmental party. We love the outdoors ... we're hunters, we're fishers (is that a word?) ... so why don't we protect the earth and be the stewards God wants us to be? I don't think it's helpful to label people who don't agree with us with silly-sounding names. We need to be the party that gets beyond that and reaches out to others in a mature, generous way -- and not the way Rush tells us to.
Just my thoughts. Take care! - Misty

`I listen to Rush, although not religiously. There are several things about him that I disagree with. First, is Ethanol. He blames it for the rising food prices. This is wrong. Rising food prices are due to the high cost of fuel and a weak dollar.
Back to the subject. Yes, Al Franken IS an idiot. He was a lousy comedian and is an even lousier Politician! He's even crazier than Obummer!

`Al Franken is from MY state and let me tell ya...he is a doorknob.
He should go back to HollyWeird and live with the rest of the liberal moonbats there.
I listen to Rush, and I've NEVER heard him tell people they HAVE to do what he says. jeez!
